Refund & Payment Policy

1. Overview

This Refund & Payment Policy explains how payments, subscriptions, cancellations, and refund requests work for Vamora. By purchasing any paid feature, pass, or subscription, you agree to this policy along with our Terms & Conditions.

2. Payment Processing

All payments for Vamora are processed securely by Razorpay or another authorised payment provider shown at checkout. We do not store your card, UPI, net banking, or wallet credentials on our servers.

  • All prices are displayed in Indian Rupees (INR), inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
  • Your payment may be subject to the terms, fees, and processing rules of your bank, wallet, UPI provider, card network, or payment gateway.
  • A payment is considered successful only after confirmation from the payment gateway.

3. Paid Features and Plans

Vamora may offer paid features such as chat unlocks, reveal access, AI reply assist, Party Pass, Weekend Pass, and Premium plans. The benefits, duration, and price of each plan are shown before purchase.

  • Basic Plan: short-duration chat and reveal access.
  • Pro Plan: extended chat and reveal access with AI reply support.
  • Party Pass / Weekend Pass: access to Weekend Mode features for the stated duration.
  • Premium Plan: longer access to chat, reveal, AI support, and Party Mode features.

4. Refund Eligibility

Refunds are generally not provided once a paid feature, pass, or plan has been successfully activated or used. Refunds may be considered only in the following cases:

  • You were charged but the paid feature was not unlocked due to a verified technical or payment gateway error.
  • You were charged more than once for the same purchase and the duplicate charge is confirmed.
  • A refund is required under applicable law.
  • We approve a refund at our sole discretion after reviewing the request.

5. Non-Refundable Cases

Refunds will not normally be issued for:

  • Change of mind after purchase.
  • Failure to use the purchased feature within its validity period.
  • One-time unlocks, passes, or plans that have already been activated or used.
  • Account suspension, restriction, or ban due to violation of our Terms or safety rules.
  • Dissatisfaction with match results, AI suggestions, reveal outcomes, chat responses, or user behaviour outside our control.
  • Incorrect purchase made by the user, unless we choose to approve an exception.

6. Subscription Cancellation

If Vamora offers recurring subscriptions, you may cancel future renewals from the available account, platform, or payment settings. Cancellation stops future renewals but does not automatically refund the current billing period.

You will continue to have access to the active paid benefits until the end of the already paid validity period, unless your account is terminated for a policy violation.

7. Failed or Pending Payments

If money is deducted but the transaction remains failed or pending, the amount is usually reversed automatically by the bank or payment provider. The reversal timeline depends on the provider and may take several business days.

If the amount is not reversed within the expected banking timeline, contact us with the transaction details so we can help verify the status.

8. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund review, email legal@vamora.app within 7 days of the transaction.

Please include:

  • Your registered phone number or email address.
  • Payment date and amount.
  • Razorpay payment ID, order ID, UPI reference, or bank transaction reference.
  • A short explanation of the issue.
  • Any relevant screenshot or receipt.

9. Refund Timeline

If a refund is approved, we will initiate it to the original payment method where possible. After initiation, the actual credit timeline depends on your bank, card issuer, UPI provider, wallet, or payment gateway.

Processing times may vary, but refunds commonly take 5 to 10 business days after approval and gateway processing.

10. Policy Changes

We may update this Refund & Payment Policy from time to time. The updated effective date will be shown at the top of this page. Continued use of Vamora or purchase of paid features after updates means you accept the revised policy.
